In this presentation we’ll discuss the various forms of bodywork, the credentials required, the clinical indications for bodywork, and how to start creating a quality referral network for your practice and the families that you serve.

 

Learning Outcomes

Participants will be able to: 
  1. Classify the types of pediatric bodywork available and benefits of each.
  2. Assess and identify which pediatric patients require physical medicine/bodywork in addition to myofunctional therapy, speech language therapy, feeding therapy, etc.
  3. Formulate a working relationship and referral network with skilled bodywork providers in their geographical area.
