Course Description

This specialized course is designed for healthcare professionals, early intervention providers, and caregivers seeking a deeper understanding of feeding management for infants diagnosed with laryngomalacia. Led by a certified speech-language pathologist with expertise in pediatric feeding and swallowing, this class offers a comprehensive overview of the condition and its impact on breast and bottle feeding, as well as transitioning to solids.

Through the lens of a detailed case study, participants will explore the clinical signs of laryngomalacia, common feeding challenges, and evidence-based intervention strategies. The course will cover practical tools for assessment, positioning techniques, pacing strategies, and caregiver education. Emphasis will be placed on multidisciplinary collaboration and individualized care planning.
