Progressive Jaw Closure Tubes are particularly effective for clients with Cerebral Palsy, traumatic brain injury, and for adults with limited jaw mobility following radiation treatments. This set of tools (six graduated tubes) is designed to teach jaw closure for clients who cannot close the jaw on command for feeding or speech sound production. Used in a hierarchy, the tubes each teach volitional jaw closure and lip rounding, which are needed for straw drinking and speech development, among others.
