The TOTs Practicum 9002 is the hands-on supply kit for participants of TalkTools’ Functional Assessment and Remediation of Tethered Oral Tissues (TOTs) live workshop, led by Lori Overland, MS CCC-SLP. This kit provides the physical tools needed to apply the Merkel-Walsh and Overland TOTs Protocol for functional assessment and evidence-based intervention. Tethered Oral Tissues, including tongue-tie (ankyloglossia), lip-tie, and buccal ties, can significantly impact breast and bottle feeding, oral motor skills, speech sound production, and swallowing across the lifespan. This multidisciplinary course is designed for SLPs, OTs, IBCLCs, dentists, ENTs, and surgeons.
